Girlfriend Getaways | Episode |

Sally reports on three great resorts in Cabo, Mexico that are perfect for a getaway with your girlfriends.
I love a girlfriend getaway -- and I've written a few articles in the past about different aspects of planning such a trip, whether for a spa-focused group or something more adventuresome. The truth is, you can never go wrong-- unless you set different expectations for your group than what actually happens. The main goals should always be: 1) to give everyone in your group a break from their daily life and stresses, and 2) to allow enough togetherness so that you have ample time to catch up and have good conversations. Whether that happens on a mountain top or around a tray of tequila shots is up to you!
Here are links to the websites of the fabulous resorts I visited in Cabo:
ONE & ONLY PALMILLA -- for Luxury, Amenities, & Activities
RANCHO PESCADERO - for a Laid-Back Surfer Vibe, Authentic Mexico
LAS VENTANAS - if your focus is Aesthetics & Tranquility
...and, as promised, my tips on ordering lunch at Breeze at the Palmilla:
1. Drink one of their enormous margaritas. By yourself. You're a big girl.
2. Eat a lot of guacamole & chips.
3. Then, whatever else you order will taste just fine. (The point is: this restaurant - where you'll likely eat lunch if you're sitting by the pool or on the beach - is not the greatest, so lower your expectations.)
